At present, our land base stands at 19,174.6 acres, and we have a total membership of 1,328 members, with 350 living on-reserve. We have recently ratified a settlement on our 1907 land claim with the government of Canada.

Our Vision Statement

The Kahkewistahaw First Nation's vision is to be a prosperous, self-sufficent, "Sovereign Nation" that promotes pride through our cultural values, beliefs and languages while providing opportunities for our Members to contribute to the well-being and harmony of all our people.

Our approach will be to provide a loving, safe democratic environment for all Members.
