The Kahkewistahaw School Committee invites applications for classroom teachers for the 2008-2009 school term, in the following positions:
- Grade Seven Teacher
- Physical Education Teacher
We are looking for teachers who believe they can make a difference in the lives of our children. We want teachers who are interested in bringing their extra life experiences and offering them as a model to our students.

» Kahkewistahaw Veterans Memorial Monument Unveiling
Unveiling ceremonies of Kahkewistahaw Veterans Memorial Monument will be held on Remembrance day November 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
The monument is located 1 km North off the Chief Kahkewistahaw School off of Highway 201.

Notice is hereby given to the electors of the Kahkewistahaw First Nation that a poll will be held to elect a chief and four (4) councillors on Thursday the 14th day of May, 2009, from nine o'clock (9:00) a.m. until eight o'clock (8:00) pm. at the following location:
Kahkewistahaw Communiplex
The votes will be counted at Kahkewistahaw Communiplex at 8:00 p.m on the 14th day of May, 2009.
The results will be declared immediately following the count.
